Randy Paul’s
name has long been
recognized in the Performance Horse Industry. He has
owned and operated
a successful training stable for the past twenty-two
years,
specializing in all
western events.
Randy’s career as a trainer began with an apprenticeship
with Yale Siminoff, Mike Mowry, Don Dodge and his own
father, Jim Paul. At the age of twenty-four, he
established his own business. Randy has accumulated
numerous NRHA, AQHA, APHA
and NRCHA
championship titles, as well as coaching his amateur
riders to top levels and world championships.
Two of Randy’s most memorable wins include the 1997 NRHA
Derby Championship and the 2000 NRCHA Limited Open
Championship. To date, Randy’s lifetime earnings exceed
$700,000.
Numerous articles on Randy’s training techniques have
been published in equine magazines and his photo has
graced the covers of The Quarter Horse News, Performance
Horse, The Quarter Horse Journal, Horse & Rider, Western
Horseman and The NRHA Reiner. In addition to his
articles, Randy has conducted clinics in the United
States, Canada, Italy and Germany.
Randy lives in Scottsdale, Arizona with his wife Andi
and their daughter Lindsay.
